This hydraulic deck widening low loader trailer is currently our number one seller. In this post, we take a brief look at why so many Australian and internationally renowned businesses are investing in Drake Trailers, and why this Drake low loader for salehas been such a popular choice.

History

The original Drake Deck Widener was introduced in 1986. In 1997 we introduced the Drake Deck Widener Trailer  with rear self-tracking axles as a niche product for urban use. With the onset of traffic calming devices, and increased property and infrastructure development this low loader came into its own.

Current model

Our Deck Widener trailer range has a firm foothold in the market place providing an end to end solution for both country and metro heavy haulage companies. Its hi-tensile steel frame, Drake hydraulic suspension, BPW axles and Drake finishing process gives the model an edge above the rest. This combined with customisation is what we stand for as market leaders in this model and others.

In the interest of customising our Deck Wideners to suit the needs of our clients, Drake Trailers can option up a radio remote-controlled over-ride for those rear self-tracking axles, perfect for getting around new subdivisions and reversing into tight positions. Or a drop bed frame increasing overall load height clearance, lay-flat ramps for better fuel economy, Bi-fold ramps for loading low profile machines including roadwork machinery, extendable chassis, the options are limitless. With these additions, any operator can handle incredibly complex loads with no trouble.

What do our customers have to say about Drake's low loaders for sale?

"We were pleasantly surprised at the extra details and small features that were included in a standard fitment. We have previously purchased ‘cheaper’ trailers from an alternative supplier; however, after receiving this trailer we now believe that these previously purchased trailers were not a cost saver at all based on the high quality of work and care taken by Drake Trailers in the manufacture of our new 3 X 4 Deck Widener."
