2018 has been a monumental year of milestones for The Drake Group. During the start of the year we celebrated 60 years of operation and looked back over the many years of service our team have given. After a great year of introducing new products, the team at Drake Collectibles are already hard at work on a new range of diecast models set for launch in 2019.

The 2018 Diecast Expo, held in Parramatta, offered diecast model collectors and visitors an exciting opportunity to talk to fellow enthusiasts, see classic models on display and get the first chance to purchase new and limited edition pieces not available anywhere else. The Drake Group and Toll

Toll Group trucks are almost synonymous with Australian highways, as their distinctive green-coloured trucks ferry urgent deliveries around the country every day. Toll Group recently took delivery of some new additions to their ever-expanding fleet courtesy of The Drake Group and were proud to show them off.

Driver fatigue is a major problem in Australia, as it’s the biggest cause of one in every five crashes across the country. This sobering statistic can be fought in a myriad of ways, including new technology being put to use by Toll Group.

That has just changed thanks to a new and expriment account of total transport activity just released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Earlier this year the Victorian Government announced they were offering free TAFE courses for high priority areas, but many don’t realise that Queensland also offers fee-free arrangements for school leavers.

New technology-based measures to help curb truck operator behaviour will take place soon under a new initiative announced recently by the Queensland Government.
